Open AI setup
In Shopify admin, open AI Pocket Pal, then choose AI setup and Knowledge base. The page separates Products, Documents, Articles, Pages and Policies.
Review market coverage
- Choose a market before reviewing indexed Shopify content.
- Compare the indexed count with the available store count.
- Run the relevant backfill when content is missing.
- Hide individual articles or pages that should not answer shopper questions.
Upload documents
Upload PDF, Markdown or text documents for information that is not already represented in Shopify. Assign language and published countries deliberately; content without a published country is excluded from shopper retrieval. Product-linked documents can provide manuals and technical detail for specific products.
Keep content current
Nightly jobs synchronize products and store content. Product taxonomy concepts are refreshed after product indexing so multilingual category discovery follows the current catalog.
