1. What this policy covers
This policy explains browser storage and similar technologies used by this marketing site. A merchant’s Shopify storefront can also use Shopify and merchant-controlled technologies described in that store’s own privacy and cookie notices.
2. Essential storage and site delivery
Essential storage supports security, routing and remembering your cookie choice. The preference key aipocketpal.analytics-consent records whether optional marketing-site analytics are allowed or denied. The site can function when optional analytics are refused. The current marketing site requests font files from Google Fonts as part of page delivery; that request can disclose ordinary connection data such as an IP address and browser user agent to Google.
3. Optional analytics
With permission, PostHog helps us understand page views, navigation and calls to action. It may use local storage and collect technical browser and interaction data. PostHog is not initialized before consent on this site. You can withdraw permission at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.
4. Shopify storefront consent
The installed storefront assistant follows Shopify’s Customer Privacy API. When analytics permission is unknown or denied, Pocket Pal does not persist a visitor analytics identifier, send first-party analytics events or initialize PostHog. Functional conversation identifiers remain available because they are necessary to provide the requested chat.
5. Managing preferences
Use the cookie settings control on this site or your browser controls to clear storage. Clearing storage resets the preference and the site will ask again. Blocking all storage can affect preference retention and other site functions.
6. Contact
Questions about cookies or consent can be sent to support@mg.aipocketpal.com.
